Sunday Times Bestseller and Merseyside-born author, Patricia Wilson, signs with The Liverpool Literary Agency
Bestselling historical fiction author, Patricia Wilson, has signed with Clare Coombes at The Liverpool Literary Agency to represent her future books and TV/Film rights from previous work. Originally from Merseyside, Patricia’s now home of Greece inspires her books, which have been translated into multiple languages.
Patricia produced seven books in seven years, all published by Bonnier Zaffre and available worldwide, in thirteen languages.
Patricia Wilson commented: “This vibrant literary agency was my first choice when my wonderful agent, Tina Betts, retired. When I met Clare Coombes at The Liverpool Literary Festival, I sensed her great love of the city and her tireless dedication to the craft of writing and representing local authors.
“Representation isn't just about contracts, it's about understanding the heart of a story and the soul of the writer. I am honoured to be represented by Clare and The Liverpool Literary Agency. It is clear to me that she also feels the spirit of our great, historical city.”
Clare Coombes said. “We’re so happy and excited to work with Patricia. I have always loved her books and the way she covers true life events with care, sensitivity and the commercial awareness that has made her a bestseller. Patricia’s brilliant new commercial historical novel, Windmills by Moonlight, will be out on submission soon.”
About Windmills by Moonlight
In her Liverpool home, Sylvia Triantάfilou caresses a beautiful hand-stitched quilt that has arrived anonymously as a wedding gift from Crete.
Each of the twenty-five panels is a collage, pictures depicting important locations or occasions from someone’s life. Epic events carefully recorded, in the vibrant chapters of a rag-quilt. She is startled to recognise one scene as the leper colony island of Spinalonga.
Sylvia’s need to decipher the squares becomes urgent – now, her own happiness hangs by a thread.
